I managed to do a lot of stuff this week, even if I wasn’t dining out every night.  Let’s hope a few of the proverbial irons in the fire land in 2017 (or before 2017, Abu Dhabi, I’m looking at you).  I’m also working on a write up of the Socotra trip that wasn’t… Would you like to order me this candy bento box?  I bet you would! Not quite as busy as last week, but still some good food over the past seven days! All the Big-Name Chefs Who Refused to Work With Donald Trump #mypeople Imagining an Affordable Live/Work Space for Foodies 100 years ago, people were eating things that most of us will never taste. So what happened? Will it Sous Vide? How messy is the science of nutrition?  This weekend is (thus far) a bit quiet — which I’m okay with!  Staying in tonight as we both with be on bikes tomorrow.  Hubs is going to start training for the Dubai 92 and I’ll be at Flywheel.  Our annual kids birthday party tomorrow afternoon promises a rainbow cake from Hummingbird Bakery, so I’m excited!  As for Saturday, maybe I can convince Hubs we need a trip to the newly opened Westin Al Habtoor City?
