A relatively busy and productive week, with a hair cut and color (for the first time since March 10th), and some yummy treats delivered (thank you, Roberto’s and Home Bakery).
- Would eat ramen pizza?
- In the whimsical category, here is some food jewelry.
- But does food actually unite us?
- The true devastation of not having shredded cheese on your fajita.
- What’s in Prince’s refrigerator? A wild read.
- Rewriting the history of American food (and including the contributions of Black Americans).
- A good read, Non-Appetit.
- Sad, but true – in the food industry, the odds have always been against Black people.
- Why is almost all food writing in English?
- If you’re looking to help local restaurants, please look at this endeavor from Frying Pan Adventures (they are finished with current funding on July 6th). If you want to learn a little more about things, I did an interview for CSR of One.
- Also, if you want to help the global community, the World’s 50 Best has released an e-cook book called Home Comforts. (Yes, you might recognize a familiar name in the credits).
- Anyone want to apply to Come Dine With Me (the UAE version)?
We’re going to brunch (?!) today, and I’m curious to see how the experience has changed. We will be diligent in keeping apart, as well as keeping our hands clean. Our little Poppy is going for her consultation on Saturday morning, and then maybe to see her friend Chico again (we’re not sure how much time in the car will be too much time).
How are you spending the weekend?
