November 2018 To Do List.
As busy as October was, I think November has the potential to be even busier, at least where Dubai is concerned. So, without any additional procrastinating, here’s my to do list for the next month (and spoiler alert, it’s mostly unrelated to food): Be consistent with events and reviews. I’ve really taken a backseat with getting out locally, and there’s a lot going on! I’ve got a few things in my calendar already, but I need to make more of a commitment to getting out on a regular basis. Publish a book! Unrelated to food writing, but I’ve not balanced my author stuff as much as I could have in October (and I have the crap book sales to prove it). October 2018 To Do List.
Holy shit, according to this to do list, October 2018 is going to be non-stop. It’s a bit stressful for someone who likes to have one ‘at home’ day a week. To be fair, in September, I did fairly well. Here’s what I’ve got ahead of me (in no particular order). Seoul, Korea (September 30th – October 5th). My first official press trip! This was postponed from late August, and actually it’s all worked out for the best. I’m approaching this trip as a learning lesson. I’m certain there are things I haven’t asked, known to ask, or considered. Overall, I’m optimistic and think I’ll be making at least one new friend out of the experience.
