There were A LOT of other dishes that almost made the list, however, I’m confident I will remember the above plates for many months to come.\u00a0 Going abroad always reinvigorates\u00a0my love of food, and I’m reminded there is a lot more going on in the world outside of Dubai.<\/p>\n

Potato and Roe, Core by Clare Smyth.\u00a0 While the humble spud and caviar don’t seem like they would be a good fit, the pairing is the comfort food of my dreams.\u00a0 Even if the rest of the menu wasn’t a hit for me, this dish was amazing. Scallops, Empire State South.\u00a0 A surprising breakfast addition on the list, but beautifully cooked scallops with corn, bacon, and mushrooms?\u00a0 C’mon y’all, I’d go back every day.
