Wow — it’s been an exhausting month! In the midst of trying to get caught up from June, showing my sister around town, finishing a book, traveling to Amsterdam, and finalizing the details of updating this website, I did manage to eat a few things. \u00a0However, I will be honest, there was a lot of food I would consider ‘average’ throughout the month, and I’m hoping August has better food in store. \u00a0In no particular order, here are my favorite dishes: Seared Scallops, Catch Truffle Pizza, Bagatelle High Tea service, St. Regis Al Habtoor Resort & Polo Club If there was an honorable mention, it would definitely go to my evening with Lindsay at The Tasting Class. \u00a0She put together a gorgeous wine event earlier in the month. \u00a0I learned a ton and would highly recommend her services.
