When describing where I was going to go for brunch, my aunt (and I) were both confused as to why anyone would name a restaurant after teeth that you lose as a child, but…in the Sunday morning brunch rush, I was unable to get a definitive answer. I digress. A very different vibe than my visit to Tavern on South, on a beautiful May morning, I parked and walked over to find a bustling Milktooth. With no tables available (and a party of one), I was fine to take a spare spot at the counter (close to the grill and bar). BTW, there are no reservations, so it’s a first come first serve basis (but you can get a drink at the bar and stand outside). The menu is slightly limited, but highly creative.
